Northern Virginia - December 2018 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from November 2018

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in November 2018 was up 12.0% from November 2017 and was up for all but the most expensive price category. Through the first eleven months of the year contract activity is down 1.4%. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 49 days in November 2018, down considerably from 62 days in November of last year.

Loudoun County - December 2018 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from November 2018

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in November 2018 was down 6.5% from last November but was down in just two of the six price categories. Through the first eleven months of the year, contract activity is down 1.9%. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 48 days in November 2018, down from 50 days in November of last year.

Montgomery County - December 2018 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from November 2018

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in November 2018 was down 11.1% from November 2017 and was down in five of the six price categories. Through the first eleven months of the year, contract activity is down 4.0%. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 66 days in November 2018, up from 60 days in November of last year.

Prince George's County - December 2018 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from November 2018

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in November 2018 was down 5.7% from November 2017, largely because of a drop in homes priced less than $300,000. Through the first eleven months of the year contract activity is up 11.2%, the best in the metro area. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 56 days in November 2018, up from 42 days this time last year.

Washington, DC - December 2018 StatPak with Contract Snapshot from November 2018

CONTRACTS: Contract activity in November 2018 was down 6.0% from November 2017 and was down in three of the six price categories. Through the first eleven months of the year contract activity is down 2.6%. The average number of days on the market for homes receiving contracts was 44 days in November 2018, the same as November of last year.
